Emma Lawrence of Benton girls volleyball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of October 17 through 23 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,674 votes this week; Lawrence finished with 1,384 votes, edging Chandler Zwiefelhofer of Bloomer by two votes. 

Lawrence led the Zephyrs to their first regional championship in 28 years. Emma finished with 29 kills, 8 blocks and 12 digs in their win D4 regional final win over Southwestern (23-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-17). 

Benton faces Seneca in a Division 4 sectional semi-final tonight at Belmont.
