Team of the Week - Week 8: Siren Dragons

Congratulations to the
Siren Dragons, the recipient of the Week 8 WSN Team of the Week award. Siren pulled out a 26-22 win over Winter last Friday, that made (or ended actually) some history. Siren was selected from a
quality group of nominees, and received
47% of the vote. Milwaukee Marquette finished second with 23%.
Siren recorded a 26-22 win over Winter Friday night in a battle of the bottom two teams in the Lakeland-Small. So what's the big deal you ask? Well, it was the first win for the Dragons in 42 games dating back to August 26, 2005. On the opening weekend of action that season Siren scored an 8-7 win over Webster, but hadn't felt the thrill of victory since then. It was the state's longest active losing streak, but not any more.
