Who Am I #1 Result.......and next round!

Congratulations…Kelsey Budd of Sauk Prairie was the correct answer to the first “Who Am I?” Kelsey took some time out to go one on one with me…
JA – So Kelsey, we all know you have committed to play basketball in college at Bradley University, let’s start with, when did you know that was the place for you? KB – The moment I stepped onto campus I knew that was where I wanted to be. The coaches made me feel very welcome and the program is headed towards great success.
JA – What other factors helped you make that decision? KB - I visited a few other colleges besides Bradley, so I was able to compare what I liked and didn't like. There wasn't anything I didn't like about Bradley and my parents were very supportive of my decision to commit there early.
JA - Did you enjoy the recruiting process? KB - The recruiting process was really fun for me. It was fun to visit different places and compare, but in June I knew where I wanted to go.
JA - What are you looking forward to most about going to college? KB - I am excited to be more independent but of course I will miss my family. I feel very lucky that I get the opportunity to extend my basketball career farther than high school and I look forward to hopefully taking my game to another level.
JA – Let’s change gears a minute and talk about high school. What is your favorite thing about high school? KB - My favorite thing about high school is the school spirit involved with the athletics. Between football games and basketball games everyone gets pretty into them and it is fun to see.
JA - Ten years from now, when you look back on your high school career, what do you think you will remember most? KB - My team has experienced some great memories on the court. My favorite is making it to the sectional final game and having almost our entire town come to support us. Our team is like a family and that is something I will always remember. Also, I hope to look back and realize that I made a mark at Sauk Prairie and was a positive role model for younger girls.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHO AM I? Last season I averaged 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for my Lady Popes team. I grabbed 145 rebounds last season alone and was named a Classic Eight first team all-conference selection. I have committed to continue my basketball career with Kelsey Budd at Bradley University and also play soccer for my school. My pregame ritual involves eating a snickers bar just before the game......WHO AM I?

Ahh Jagger? Sydnor may be a good athlete, but she doesn't play soccer.
