[b][image]http://images.wissports.net/wsn/authors/13710s.jpg[/image]Mark Miller, Boys Basketball[/b] - Miller has covered high school basketball in Wisconsin for more than 25 years in his Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook along with various newspapers and websites. He is the Chief Editor of the Boys Basketball section on WisSports.net and continues his long-standing role as the editor of the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook.
In addition to his roles at WSN, Miller also helps to run various basketball-related events. These include the Minnesota vs. Wisconsin Border Battle, the WBY Shootout and the WBY Summer Exposure Camps. Mark currently lives in Madison with his wife Pat and their two daughters.
[image]http://images.wissports.net/wsn/authors/11102s.jpg[/image] [b]Dennis Semrau, Baseball[/b] - Semrau is an award winning prep sports journalist in the Madison area for The Captial Times, a role he has had since 1991.
He has also covered the Milwaukee Brewers extensively for the paper and has also been involved with covering a little bit of everything else including local college and pro sports. He has also been a statistician for UW basketball for 25 years and does internal PA for UW football for the media. He is a member of the Baseball Writers of American Association and a voting member of the professional baseball Hall of Fame.
[b][image]http://images.wissports.net/wsn/authors/35925s.jpg[/image]Bob Tomlinson, Softball[/b] - Tomlinson is the resident softball expert at WSN and is the founder of the Faspitch Chronicle website. The site (fastpitchchronicle.com) was launched by Tomlinson in 1998 as a supplement to a newspaper of the same name. The monthly publication peaked at more than 35,000 readers nationwide before eventually giving way to the all online format.
Tomlinson has been the head coach for the Poynette girls’ softball team since the 1980 season where he has won 2 state titles and 19 conference championships. He is one of just six Wisconsin high school coaches to have won over 400 varsity victories.
In addition to being an outstanding coach and promoter of the game Bob has played men’s fastpitch every summer since 1964 winning numerous team titles and individual honors. He also is sought after as a pitching coach, skills instructor and even invented a sliding pad which is now marketed by Schutt Sports.
In 2007 Bob was inducted into the International Softball Congress Hall of Fame for his work writing about, promoting and playing the game of fastpitch softball.
[b][image]http://images.wissports.net/wsn/authors/8s.jpg[/image]Marlin Lee, Football[/b] - Lee has been covering high school football in the state of Wisconsin since 2002. He is widely considered the top source for high school football recruiting news in the state. In addition to writing for WSN he has appeared on several statewide and national radio shows, websites and publications.
Marlin is a graduate of Lancaster High School where he was a member of the Flying Arrows’ State Championship football teams in 2000, 2001, and 2002.
[b][image]http://images.wissports.net/wsn/authors/40165s.jpg[/image]Jennie Adrian, Girls Basketball[/b] - Jennie is a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe Kansas where she played basketball and ran cross country. After graduation she went on to coach varsity basketball in Kansas and Wisconsin for 5 years highlighted by a trip to sub-state finals with Jefferson West high school and taking down an undefeated Slinger team in the regional semi-finals while at Grafton in 2003. She was a varsity assistant for the powerful Cuba City program from 2003-2006.
When not teaching Math at Edgewood High School she's coaching her team at home. Husband Todd is the head men's basketball coach at Edgewood College and they have 5 month old twins Tyson and Payton.
[image]http://images.wissports.net/wsn/authors/42986s.jpg[/image] [b]Chris Walby, Boys Hockey[/b] - A native of Lodi, Chris was a hockey standout for Middleton high school in 1993. Walby's post high school hockey career included three seasons at the Junior A level as a player in the USHL, NAHL and a captain of the Royal City Outlaws of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League. Chris has spent the last seven seasons on the bench of his alma mater as an Assistant Coach for the Cardinals. In the "off-season" Walby coaches the nationally ranked Madison Elite U16 team of the Wisconsin Elite Hockey League and his most recent project is undertaking the task of G.M. and Head Coach of Wiscohockey.com, an offseason AAA program that showcases Wisconsin's elite high school hockey players.

His first role in hockey was as a hockey parent as his oldest son signed up to play in Mauston at the age of 5. Over the next 15 years, he watched all four of his children play hockey and his role in hockey grow. He currently is president of the Wisconsin-Minnesota Hockey League (WMHL), which includes youth teams from Onalaska, La Crosse, West Salem, Tomah, Viroqua, Black River Falls, Baraboo, La Crescent (MN) and Reedsburg. He has been involved in Girls Youth Hockey since 2002. Del attended high school at Holy Name Seminary in Madison, WI and Webb High School in Reedsburg, WI.
During the fall, Del can usually be found at Reedsburg High School football games for all three levels (freshman, jv and varsity). On Saturdays, he spends his time officiating youth football games in Reedsburg. The winter will find him at numerous high school hockey games and starting in the 2009-10 hockey season, Del will be doing a "Game of the Week" live over the internet. The spring and summer find him at track meets or baseball games. When not watching sports, he can be found riding his Harley-Davidson. He currently resides in Reedsburg with his wife, Amy. His oldest son, Corwin, will be leaving for the Air Force this fall. His daughter, Caitlin, will be playing hockey in International Falls, MN for Rainy River Community College. His youngest two boys, Kyle (a sophomore) and Colin (a freshman), will be attending Reedsburg Area High School and participate in sports year round.
