Recap of the 2023 Girls' WBCA All-Star Games

The 46th annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Girls' All-Star Games were held on Wednesday, July 28 at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. 

The North All-Stars won three of the five games. The results with player points are below: 

Division 1: North 66, South 56

The North All-Stars led 28-19 at halftime and went on to earn a 66-56 victory in the Division 1 WBCA All-Star Game at JustAgame Fieldhouse. 

Marshfield's Danielle Minsaas, an NCAA Division II University of Sioux Falls recruit, scored a game-high 18 points to lead the North squad to the win. Joining her in double figures were Oshkosh's North Mallory Ott, an NCAA Division II Truman State recruit, and Sheboygan North's Anna Fogle who tallied 11 and 10 points, respectively. 

The South All-Stars were led by Milwaukee King's Imani Warren who finished with 10 points.

Division 2: South 89, North 69

The South All-Stars outscored the North All-Stars 28-17 in the second quarter and held a 41-30 lead at the break on their way to posting an 89-69 victory in the Division 2 WBCA All-Star Game. 

The South squad had four players score in double figures, led by Union Grove's Sophia Rampulla, an NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee recruit, and New Berlin Eisenhower's Lexi Bugajski, an NCAA Division I Appalachian State recruit, who finished with 15 and 12 points, respectively. 

The North All-Stars were led by Beaver Dam's Bella Oestreicher, an NCAA Division III Carroll University recruit, who scored a game-best 19 points, including knocking down six triples.

Division 3: North 73, South 69

The North All-Stars held off a fourth-quarter rally by the South All-Stars to claim a 73-69 victory in the Division 3 WBCA All-Star Game. 

The North squad was led in scoring by Brillion's Megan Schuman, an NCAA Division II Winona State recruit, and Arcadia's Breah Golden, an NCAA Division II Lake Superior State recruit, each tallying 12 points. 

Evansville's Maria Messling, an NCAA Division I Western Illinois recruit, scored a team-best 11 points for the South squad.

Division 4: South 53, North 51

The South All-Stars outscored the North All-Stars 19-12 in the fourth quarter to post a 53-51 victory in the Division 4 WBCA All-Star Game. 

Randolph's Jorey Buwalda, an NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee recruit, finished with a game-high 15 points, including nine in the fourth quarter to lead the South squad to the win. Melrose-Mindoro's  Lilly Radcliffe, an NJCAA Division II North Iowa Area CC recruit, added 11 points. 

The North squad was led in scoring by Bangor's Nora Tucker and Coleman's Aubrey Bintz who each netted 11 points.

Division 5: North 75, South 68

The North All-Stars overcame a 16-point (40-24) halftime deficit to defeat the South All-Stars 75-68 in the Division 5 WBCA All-Star Game. 

Four players scored in double figures for the North squad, led by Edgar's Reagan Borchardt who scored a game-best 14 points while Gilman's Tatum Weir added 13 points in the victory. 

The South squad was led in scoring by Kickapoo's Jayla Nagel and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's Kat Miller who each netted 10 points.
