Davyn Edge of Platteville has been selected as the Week 6 Jolly Good Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Hillmen win a wild one over Lancaster. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. A total of 12,208 votes were cast, as Edge's 4,662 were enough to edge out second place Jake Linse of Mondovi, who tallied 4,599 votes.

It was a thriller in the SWC Friday night as Platteville downed Lancaster 47-46 to take over sole possession of first place in the league. Senior Davyn Edge was part of a big passing day for the Hillmen, catching nine passes for 187 yards with four touchdowns. He added 11 tackles and a forced fumble on defense as well.
