Dodgeland junior Isabella Albert has been selected as the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week for the week of May 20-26 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,077 total votes this week. Albert topped all vote getters with 1,325 votes. Potosi/Cassville's Kolton Vogelsberg came in second with 1,232.

Albert excelled on the track this past week during the regional and sectional meets, advancing to the state tournament in three events. Competing at the Pardeeville regional on Friday, Albert won the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash in times of 12.64 and 26.25 seconds respectively. She also anchored the 4x100 meter relay winning team that finished with a time of 51.01. Dodgeland tied for the regional team title. The junior runner then won all three of those events while competing at the Horicon sectional. Her times got better in both individual events, finishing in 12.50 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 25.93 seconds in the 200 meter dash. The 4x100 meter relay team won in 50.82 seconds.
