Tommy O'Hagan of Homestead has been selected as the Week 2 Jolly Good Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Highlanders take down the number one team in the state. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 2. A total of 7,195 votes were cast, as O'Hagan's 2,524 were enough to edge out second place Sean Ryan of New Berlin West, who tallied 2,387 votes.

Coming off an opening loss to Germantown, Homestead rebounded nicely with a 24-21 win over Arrowhead, the top-ranked team in the initial WSN Division 1 Coaches Poll. Veteran quarterback Tommy O'Hagan threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns, completing 9-of-16 passes. O'Hagan also led the Highlanders with 89 rushing yards on 17 attempts.
