We asked, you voted, and Stanley-Boyd at Mondovi has been selected as the Kwik Trip and Wisconsin Dairy Game of the Week for Week 4 of the high school football season. A total of 4,514 votes were cast, as this one received 1,507 of those votes. 

The Kwik Trip & Wisconsin Dairy Game of the Week allows you, the fans, to pick what you feel is the biggest high school football game in the state each week. Not only will that game get featured on WisSports.net, but our WSN staff will make it our destination that week, with updates, photos, videos, and stories from the big game.

And of course, no trip to a big game in Wisconsin would be complete without a stop or two at Kwik Trip and a chocolate milk!!

The Cloverbelt Conference is as tough as ever this year, with three teams currently ranked in the top five of their respective divisions. Two of them meet up in this one, with D5 4th-ranked Stanley-Boyd traveling to Division 6 top-ranked Mondovi. Speaking of Mondovi, they're coming off an impressive 38-22 win in a replacement game over Winona, MN, a much larger school from across the river.

"Challenging is the first thing that came to mind," said Mondovi coach Craig Loscheider, when asked about the open games of the 2024 season. "But also feel like we are passing the difficult tests we have had to this point, and that makes me proud of our kids and our program."

Stanley-Boyd coach Jeff Koenig likes how things have gone for his team as well.

"We had a good test in week one," he said. "They were a little shorthanded and we were able to get a good look at where we were as a team. We have improved each of the last two weeks but still have a long way to go to reach our potential. We need to keep improving and building each week throughout the season."

This will be quite the test for both sides on Friday night.

"Stanley-Boyd is a great program and they are strong and fast every year, but I think this is the best Stanley-Boyd team we have played since joining the Cloverbelt in 2020," said Loscheider. "We will need to play our best game of the season to beat them."

The admiration for Mondovi is evident on Stanley-Boyd's side as well.

"Playing a good Mondovi team helps raise our game to another level and our players like the challenge," added Koenig. "Mondovi's offense has put up a lot of points this year and we hope we can slow them down."
