Cade Voelker threw for 139 yards and two scores, most of it to Braden Aprill. On the ground, Bryce Gullixon led the way with 100 yards and two touchdowns. Harrison Zorn returned the second half kickoff for a touchdown for Kiel, who moves to 4-0 overall.

Lomira Lions

Lomira rolled up 630 yards of offense in a 55-26 win over Winnebago Lutheran on Friday night. The bulk of that came on the ground in the form of 487 rushing yards, as Taylor Schaumberg, Jackson Goebel, and Jack Luedtke all eclipsed 100 yards. Goebel also completed seven-of-12 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

Marquette Hilltoppers

Defending Division 1 state champion Marquette has won three straight after an opening loss to Arrowhead, including a 36-10 win over Division 2 second-ranked Germantown on the road Friday night. Junior running back Tommy Novotny ran for 104 hard-fought yards with three touchdowns, while Badger commit Erik Schmidt connected on field goals of 46, 36, and 34 yards in the victory for the Hilltoppers. Mitchell Nigro led the defense with 10 tackles, including three sacks.

Roncalli Jets

Roncalli ended a 35-game conference losing streak that had dated back to 2018 with an 8-0 win over Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian in Week 4 of the season. Landon Chalupny had a big day throwing the football, completing 21-of-36 passes for 224 yards and a score. The defense pitched a shutout, including four interceptions, two by Sawyer Fandrisse.

Waupaca Comets

Waupaca was winless on the season while Fox Valley Lutheran a perfect 3-0, ranked number six in Division 3, and coming off a thrilling win over rival Xavier. In a snapshot of just how unpredictable high school football can be at times, Waupaca knocked off FVL 18-17 on Friday, rallying from a 17-6 fourth quarter deficit. Austin Adamczak had a hand in both fourth quarter scores for the Comets, completing a 14-yard touchdown to Andre Hendrix on the first play of the quarter, and rushing for a one-yard score with just a 1:24 remaining to put Waupaca ahead. He finished with 168 yards of offense, while Xzaver Pittman rushed for 125 on the ground.
