Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

The top five of the Division 1 rankings are unchanged this week, with Kimberly number one followed by Franklin, Verona, Arrowhead, and Mukwonago. Muskego's second loss in a row drops the Warriors out of the rankings, which allows Waunakee to move in this week.

Division 2

Few changes in D2 this week, with Rice Lake still holding a commanding lead in the voting, followed by Slinger, Badger, Kaukauna, and Germantown in the top five. Towards the bottom of the poll, Wauwatosa East and Milton drop out after suffering their first losses of the season. Monona Grove and Beaver Dam make their debuts in the rankings this week.

Division 3

Notre Dame continues to dominate the Division 3 rankings, while a bit further down, Mount Horeb/Barneveld slips ahead of Grafton for third. Plymouth suffered its first loss of the year against Beaver Dam and falls from fifth to tenth. Losses by New Berlin West, Stoughton, and Fox Valley Lutheran dropped all three teams out of the rankings. New this week are Greendale, Port Washington, and Medford.

Division 4

West Salem continues to hold an edge over Columbus in the Division 4 Coaches Poll on WSN. Ellsworth tumbles out of the rankings after a second loss on the year, this time to Baldwin-Woodville. New to the poll for the first time this year is Winneconne, who is 5-0 coming into Week 6.

Division 5

Few changes in Division 5, as Wrightstown continues to occupy the top spot in the WSN Coaches Poll. The top nine are unchanged, with unbeaten Milwaukee Academy of Science entering the poll at number ten, replacing Lancaster.

Division 6

Only one ranked team lost last week in Division 6, as Luther dropped a very competitive affair to Aquinas and slips from sixth to tenth. Regis is again the favorite in Division 6, with the remaining top five consisting of Coleman, Abbotsford, Mondovi, and Cambridge.

Division 7

The top nine remains unchanged, with Potosi/Cassville still the top-ranked team in the Week 5 WSN Coaches Poll for Division 7. Cochrane-Fountain City replaces Palmyra-Eagle in the poll, as the Pirates are tenth this week.

8-Player

Owen-Withee solidified its spot atop the rankings with a dominating victory over former number four Thorp, which knocked the Cardinals completely out of the poll. Also losing was second-ranked Gilman, who fell to McDonell Central and dips to eighth. The new top five after Owen-Withee features Hurley, North Crawford, Highland, and Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas. Unbeaten teams Oakfield and New Auburn move into the poll, while Port Edwards and Thorp are out.
