The Jared Schultz Experience continued for Northwood/Solon Springs on Thursday, as he had a hand in four, first-half touchdowns and five overall in a 48-6 win over South Shore. Schultz returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown, had two passing touchdowns, and ran for two scores, accounting for 323 all-purpose yards plus a team-high 15 tackles on defense.

There were a couple big-time top ten matchups on the schedule last week, both coming in the North Central-East Conference. Top-ranked Owen-Withee dominated fourth-ranked Thorp 59-0, as the Blackhawks rushed for 368 yards and seven touchdowns, including big games from Mason Gay and Sully Poehler. Owen-Withee's defense forced six turnovers in the win.

It was certainly closer between sixth-ranked McDonell Central and second-ranked Gilman. A week after falling to Owen-Withee, McDonell Central rebounded with a 22-14 win over Gilman.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah remained undefeated with a narrow 28-20 win over Valley Christian (Oshkosh). Brody Feldmann ran for 101 yards, caught 11 passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and threw a nine-yard score.

New Auburn took down Port Edwards 36-28, and it led the Trojans to take over Port Edwards' former spot in the WSN Coaches Poll as well. New Auburn scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.

It was a low-scoring affair between Hurley and Athens, but the Northstars stayed unbeaten with a 12-6 victory, as Devin Soltis ran for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Highland limited Kickapoo/La Farge to just 30 yards of offense and rolled up 385 rushing yards of its own in a 70-0 running clock victory. Kaden Washa had touchdown runs of 76, 28, 43, and 23 yards.

Montello took down former co-op partners Princeton/Green Lake 54-20 behind 304 rushing yards and five touchdowns from Zander Jones, who also threw a 49-yard touchdown.

Defending state champion Florence is coming off a loss to Wabeno/Laona, but they'll welcome in unbeaten Wausaukee this weekend. Speaking of Wabeno/Laona, they'll travel to Three Lakes on Friday.

Gilman and Thorp went down last week for the first time, and their matchup on Friday should be one of the better games on the schedule this weekend.

Former co-op mates Rib Lake and Prentice will square off on Friday in Rib Lake.

First place in the North Central-West 8 is on the line Saturday, as ninth-ranked New Auburn will travel to tenth-ranked Clayton.

Jonah and Jacob Koon put their twin powers to work as Abundant Life/St. Ambrose downed St. John's Northwestern Academies 54-20 on Friday. Quarterback Jonah completed 16-of-24 passes for 410 yards and seven touchdowns, as eight of those completions for 296 hards and four scores went to Jacob.
