FOOTBALL

Offense

Cade Fitzgerald, Junior (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo), Quarterback of UW-River Falls

Fitzgerald helped lead the No. 6-ranked to a 68-9 win at Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio) on Sept. 28, compiling 278 yards of total offense (167 passing, 111 rushing). He also totaled four touchdowns, passing for two and rushing for two.
 
Defense

Jack Olson, Junior (Prescott, Wis./Prescott), Defensive Lineman of UW-River Falls

Olson led the Falcon defense during UW-River Falls’ 68-9 road win at Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio), totaling a career-high 11 tackles. In addition, he had a pair of tackles for loss, one sack, and one pass breakup.
 
Special Teams

Gage Timm, Junior (Shawano, Wis./Shawano), Linebacker/Punter of UW-River Falls

Timm helped lead the Falcons to a 68-9 road win at Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio), contributing on special teams with a return for a touchdown off a blocked punt, and totaling 105 punting yards for an average of 52.5 yards per punt, including a long punt of 59 and one inside MSJ’s 20-yard line.
