In a de facto Wisconsin Valley Conference championship game, Bangston was a workhorse as D.C. Everest scored a 47-41 double overtime win against Stevens Point. He ran the ball 45 times for 259 yards and two touchdowns. That wasn't it, however, as Bangston caught five passes for 112 yards and a score.

Wisconsin Dells took down old rival Mauston 35-15 on Friday night in the 80th meeting between the teams. Senior running back Sam Ersland ran wild, going for 397 yards and five touchdowns on 24 carries, averaging 16.5 yards per attempt. He is second in the state in rushing yards this season.

Wauwatosa East scored a program-changing 27-0 shutout win over Catholic Memorial on Friday night to pull into a tie for first place in the Parkland Conference. Malachi Mack accounted for all four touchdowns, each coming in the second half. He'd finish with 15 carries for 201 yards, averaging 14.1 yards per attempt. He also recorded a team-high nine tackles with an interception on defense.

It was everything you want in a high school football game, as FRCC-North unbeatens Bay Port and West De Pere squared off for control of the league title. It was back-and-forth all night, but West De Pere would come out on top in a 45-43 win. After Bay Port scored to go ahead with just 26 seconds remaining, the Phantoms would march quickly down the field, setting up Brandon Schaefer for a 49-yard field goal, which he connected on as time expired for the game-winnner. Schaefer was also six-for-six on extra points in the game.

Baldwin-Woodville jumped out early and hung on for a 41-30 win over previously undefeated Prescott to take over sole possession of first place in the Middle Border Conference. Gavin Sell was dynamic for the Blackhawks, rushing 23 times for 183 yards and two touchdowns. The North Dakota State commit also completed eight-of-12 passes for 156 yards and two scores.
