Jolly Good Level 1 Player of the Week Nominees

Logan Derke, Belleville

Cambridge was a perfect 9-0 during the regular season, winning the Eastern Suburban Conference title. The Blue Jays got matched up with eighth-seeded Belleville, who played a challenging schedule against a number of larger teams, including seven regular season contests against teams that would qualify for the playoffs. It proved not to be much of a contest, with Belleville dominating to a 27-0 victory, as Logan Derke was a workhorse for the Wildcats, carrying it 37 times for 209 yards and three touchdowns.

Patrick Greisen, West De Pere

Patrick Greisen saw limited varsity action his first two years, but has been a breakout performer as a junior for West De Pere. The 6'2", 195-pound signal-caller is coming off a huge performance in a 60-34 Level 1 win over Oshkosh North, completing 34-of-55 passes for 534 yards and eight touchdowns. His eight scoring passes is tied for third in state history for a single game.

Jack Labisch, Muskego

Muskego had its struggles this year, going just 3-4 in the Classic Eight Conference, though they were impressive in the non-league schedule. That included a Week 2 win over Oak Creek, who the Warriors matched up with in the first playoff game. It turned in a blowout, as Muskegon won 42-7 in a running clock. The Warriors did not attempt a pass in the game, with Jack Labisch leading an explosive rushing attack with 17 attempts for 235 yards and three touchdowns.

Wade Lindahl, Lourdes Academy

Lourdes Academy went on the road in Level 1, as the sixth-seeded Knights knocked off third-seeded Crivitz 23-21. Senior quarterback Wade Lindahl came up huge, completing 16-of-24 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns. He also carried the ball 24 times for 104 yards and a score. He also handled the punting duties and recorded eight tackles on defense.

Jacob Siner, Arrowhead

Junior running back Jacob Siner was The Man for Arrowhead on Friday night, helping the Warhawks to a 29-14 victory over fifth-seeded Sussex Hamilton. Siner carried the ball 23 times for 304 yards and two touchdowns to help the Warhawks to Level 2, going over 1000 yards on the season.
