By a very slim margin, Marathon has been chosen as the WSN Team of the Month for February in a statewide vote. The Red Raiders received 969 total votes (36% of the total) to narrowly edge Amherst (35% of vote). Congratulations to all the nominees.



Marathon - The Red Raiders capped off a perfect 22-0 regular season by going 7-0 in the month of February. Marathon wasn't just good, they were dominant, winning by an average of 26.5 points per game. The last three games of the month really made a statement. They won by 16 at defending state finalist Assumption, beat a solid Auburndale team by 30, and then dominated Marawood-North champ Prentice in a 20-point win in the Marawood Playoffs.
