I like playing baseball because: it is a totally different pace from hockey. In hockey, it s 60 minutes of going as hard as you can and flying around. Baseball is a little more laid-back and more of an individual game.
Most memorable baseball moment: winning a state title. The whole ride to state this year was pretty memorable.
Team bonding highlights: We trained in Phoenix, Arizona at the Maryville complex, where the Milwaukee Brewers up-and-coming prospects train. We went there during our spring break which was a lot of fun and definitely helped us bond and work on our skills before the season started.
Baseball superstitions: I wore the same hat all four years in high school. Everybody made fun of me but I kept it because I liked it.
Favorite athletes: Albert Pujols (baseball) and Steve Yzerman (hockey).
Favorite teams: Detroit Red Wings; Milwaukee Brewers
Favorite Brewers: Ryan Braun, Rickie Weeks, Jim Edmonds
