Dan Gulbransen (Fox Valley Lutheran HS) and Adam Brett Walker (Milwaukee Lutheran HS) capped off impressive debut seasons at Jacksonville University by being named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Baseball team.

Gulbransen was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection after leading the team in batting average (.391), runs (53), triples, on-base percentage (.498), walks (39), and multi-hit games (26). He also contributed eight home runs and 46 RBI.

Walker led the team with 16 home runs, 58 RBI, a .635 slugging percentage, and 122 total bases. He was a Second Team All-Conference pick and also on the league's all-freshman team with Gulbransen.

Gulbransen was a Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association First Team All-State pick last year at Fox Valley Lutheran after hitting .579 as a senior and leading his team to the Division 2 WIAA State Tournament. Walker was a Third Team choice after recording a .434 batting average.

The duo also received Second Team Freshman All-America honors from Ping!Baseball.com.
