I got my start in sports: playing tee-ball in kindergarten, basketball in fourth grade and organized football in sixth grade.

Baseball highlights: A three-time letterwinner and three-year starter, Bobby moved up to varsity seven games into his freshman season. He earned Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-State second team honors as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore. He is a three-time All-City and tw-time Mississippi Valley Conference first-team selection.

2009 stats: He batted .444 as a junior and .418 as a sophomore and drove in 68 runs in 53 games during the two seasons. On the mound, he posted a 6-0 record.

2009 team highlights:
Lost in WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinals … Posted 25-2 record, including 12-0 (champion) in Mississippi Valley Conference.

Other sports honors: Bobby was a three-time letterwinner and two-year starter at quarterback. He was a two-time all-conference selection. He was a co-captain and earned honorable mention all-state honors his senior year after passing for 1,517 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushing for 722 yards. … In basketball, he is a three-time letterwinner and three-year starter at guard. He is a two-time co-captain and earned all-conference second-team honors as a junior, when he averaged 12 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, and sophomore.

This and that: He earned All-City honors twice each in football and basketball and three times in baseball. … He was a member of the Red Raiders conference championship team in baseball as a sophomore and junior and conference co-champion football team as a senior. … He played American Legion baseball for Post 52 for three years.

I like playing baseball because: it s always been my favorite sport and I love the game.

Team bonding moments: We took a spring training trip to the Disney Complex in Orlando, Fla. last year and played three games and went 2-1. It was cool being there with my teammates.
