KANSAS CITY ROYALS TRYOUT ANNOUNCED



The Kansas City Royals Baseball Club has announced that an open free agent tryout camp has been scheduled for Monday, June 22 at Fairfax Park (3800 Fairfax Street) in Eau Claire, Wisconsin under the direction of Royals Midwest Regional Scout Scott Melvin and Wisconsin Associate Scout Kyle Scharhag.

 

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the camp will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.  There is no fee required to participate in this camp, which will last approximately five hours depending on the number of participants.



Each player is required to sign a liability waiver.  If player is under the age of 21 a parent or guardian must also sign the waiver.  All players attending this camp are responsible for their own expenses to and from the tryout.

 

You are required to bring your own equipment (shoes, glove, ect.).  If you do not have a uniform, we recommend that you wear loose-fitting clothing that will allow you to move freely.

    * Take the Highway 93 Exit (Eau Claire)

    * Go north (to the right) on Highway 93 to the stoplights @ Golf Road (1
