#1 Monroe beats Jefferson and then Prairie du Chien

Monore, the state's #1 ranked Division 2 team cruised past Jefferson 8-0 in the sectional finale while Prairie du Chien upended Columbus 3-1 to advance to the sectional finale. Monroe then nipped Prairie du Chien 1-0 in eight innings to earn the trip to Madison where they will take on Rice Lake in the state semi-final.
