The Sauk Prairie Eagles have been selected as the Week 4 WSN Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. The Eagles came out of the gates hot and pulled away from defending Division 3 state champion Reedsburg in a Badger-North match-up last Friday night to win by a final score of 51-30. Sauk Prairie was chose from a very strong group of nominees this week. The Eagles received 46% of the vote, coming from behind to edge runner-up Hartford who finished with 35%.

Sauk Prairie shocked defending D3 champ Reedsburg, jumping out to a 23-0 lead and taking a 30-6 advantage into halftime. The Eagles held on for a 51-30 win and put themselves in position for a potential playoff berth for the first time since 2007. Kenneth McNeal, Brendan Coy, Erik Meyers, Dan Brennan, and Clayton Bohler all had big games for the Eagles.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite team can be named WSN Team of the Week is to vote, vote, vote. Look for the Week 5 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
