There will be a new look to our girls basketball yearbook for the 2011-12 season.  Due to the popularity of our WSNx service, we will be moving a good majority of the content that has been featured in the Wisconsin Women’s Basketball Yearbook online as part of that service.  This will allow girls basketball fans in our state to not have to pay $25 for the yearbook and then $23 to follow girls hoops all year long online with WisSports.net.

We will be keeping the tradition of print going strong with a dedicated 20 page girls basketball preview section of the November issue of WSN Illustrated, along with a dedicated girls basketball cover of that issue.  Player pictures and profiles that traditionally were in the yearbook will be in our magazine.  This issue of WSN Illustrated will be sent to ALL girls basketball WSNx subscribers!

“I think this is a great way to evolve the promotion of girls basketball in our state,” said Nicholas Kartos, President & Founder of WSN.  He continued, “we will be able to publish content sooner and will not be restricted by page counts or white space.  Furthermore, our yearbook only had a distribution of around 600 while our magazine has 10,000 with a very high pass through rate.”

A special “Yearbook” section of the girls basketball part of WisSports.net will feature all the conference previews and other content.  Printable PDFs of schedules sorted by conference are also available for those who like a hard copy of all their opponents for the year.
