Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
The pre-season watch list has been trimmed down to five finalists. Winners are announced the week of the softball state tournament.
WSN Senior Softball Awards -- Pitcher Finalists:
Lauren Blasczyk, Appleton East - Lauren has pitched in the last three state tournaments and this season is 18-2 with a 1.18 ERA and 118 strikeouts. She earned First Team WFSCA All-State honors last season.
Sarah Fonk, Westosha Central - Sarah has a 13-0 record with a 0.37 ERA with 137 strikeouts for the Falcons. She also carries a .493 batting average with 34 runs scored.
Kristen Hoppman, Sun Prairie - Hoppman led the Cardinals to a Division 1 state runner-up finish last season. She earned First Team WFSCA All-State honors last season and is also an impressive hitter.
Delaney Osterday, Oconomowoc - Helped the Racoons to the Wisconsin Little Ten championship this season going 8-1 with a 1.05 ERA and 100 strikeouts.
Callie Troutfetter, Oshkosh West - Led the Wildcats to the FVA title with her stellar play in the circle. She's an outstanding leader and is very poised in the circle.
