Ty Pelton-Byce of Madison Memorial boys hockey has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of December 29 through January 4 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 1,778 votes this week and Pelton-Byce received 584 of them. Natisha Hiedeman of Green Bay Southwest girls basketball finished second with 519 votes. 

Pelton-Byce scored 2 goals and added an assist in the Spartans 3-1 victory over Madison West, who entered the game ranked No. 4 in the Wi Prep Hockey poll, to win the Culver's Cup last Monday. Pelton-Price is eighth in the state in goals with 18 this season.
