Division 1

Big news to report in Division 1, where season-long #1 Stevens Point went down to Cretin-Derham Hall (MN) in the Border Battle over the weekend. It not only dropped the Panthers from the ranks of the unbeatens, it also knocked them out of the top spot in the Week 10 Coaches Poll. Three-time defending champion Germantown, sporting a 17-0 record, rises to the top spot, with Stevens Point just behind. Even with the loss, Stevens Point did manage to snag a couple top votes. Further down the poll, Kenosha Indian Trail lost a non-conference game to Classic Eight last place Waukesha North and dropped completely out of the rankings. Fellow Southeast Conference member Racine Case dropped out as well after going down to Dominican, with Neenah and Marquette returning to the poll this week.

Division 2

Like Division 1, the top-ranked team in Division 2 went down last week. However, Kaukauna managed to hang on to the top spot, as the Galloping Ghosts one loss is fewer than any other D2 squad. Pius XI also went down last week, dropping from 2nd to 4th, with Wisconsin Lutheran moving up to 2nd followed by Seymour. Port Washington and Rice Lake move in to the poll again as D2 continues to see heavy turnover each week.

Division 3

While Divisions 1 and 2 saw quite a few losses by ranked teams and considerable turnover, D3 was a model of consistency. Kettle Moraine Lutheran remains #1, followed once again by Prescott, Freedom, Ripon, and Marshall. Brown Deer jumped Poynette for the 8th spot, and the only loss by a ranked team was G-E-T's defeat in the Border Battle against Minnehaha Academy (MN), though the Redhawks remain in the #10 spot.

Division 4

There wasn't a lot to report in Division 4 this week, with Dominican a unanimous #1 choice. The division does boast three of the remaining four undefeated teams in the state: Mineral Point (#2), Regis (#3), and Marathon, who jumped Darlington for the 5th spot this week. Cuba City suffered a pair of losses and dropped out of the rankings, allowing CWC-8 leading Amherst to move in to the #9 spot.

Division 5

It seemed Port Edwards would repeat as the top-ranked team in Division 5, but on a slow Monday night schedule, the Blackhawks 41-33 loss to Wild Rose was one of the few big games. As a result, Randolph took over the top spot in D5 once again, followed by Bangor and then Port Edwards. New teams in this week's rankings are Seneca and Eleva-Strum, with Pecatonica and Central Wisconsin Christian dropping out.
