Taylor Allen of Brookfield East girls volleyball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of September 26 through October 2 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 1,813 votes this week; Allen received 680 while Sam Fredrickson of Fond du Lac football finished second with 634 votes. 

Allen helped the Spartans end DSHA's 25-match Greater Metro winning streak. Taylor finished with 9 kills and 2 blocks in the victory. 

Taylor has 126 kills with a 46.8 kill percentage, also has a team-high 81 blocks. 

Brookfield East is 23-10 overall and 6-0 in the Greater Metro.
