Bean averaged an eye-popping 226.2 yards over nine games as a junior finishing the season with 262 carries for 2,042 yards and 16 touchdowns. What's even more amazing is it took him just four games to eclipse the 1,000 yard mark posting 1,114 yards and 11 touchdowns after games against Richland Center, Westfield Area, Dodgeville and Lancaster. Bean picked up quite a few postseason awards for his work including WFCA first-team all-state, Associated Press second-team all-state, WFCA all-region, La Crosse Tribune first-team all-area and first-team all-conference accolades. He was also named one of 50 Old Spice Red Zone Players of the Year nationally. In addition, Bean was named second-team all-conference at linebacker, honorable-mention all-conference at kicker and honorable-mention all-conference at punter. Bean had previously earned first-team all-conference honors at running back as a sophomore. Participated to the U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio. |
